Citizenship Application

Passport Services
Every citizen must hold an MDU passport (CIT-003). One is issued to you automatically when your citizenship is approved, and you can download it, check its expiry, or report it lost or stolen at any time. Reporting a loss revokes the old passport and issues a replacement in the same step. No fee.
Petitions
Amendment IV: every citizen holds the right of petition. A petition signed by at least ten percent of citizens must be received, considered in good faith, and answered by the President with a public, reasoned response. A qualified petition may then be put to a vote of the people.
Administrative Appeals
File formal appeals regarding deportation or entry prohibition decisions. Fines or community service may be required.

What you need to apply
- Name and date of birth as they appear on your legal identification
- Country of residence
- A government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID, or driver's license)
- A certificate of English at B1 level or above, issued within the last 3 years. Native speakers holding ID issued by Australia, the Bahamas, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States may claim a waiver instead.

How your data is handled
Your photo ID is used solely to verify your identity during application review. Once the required details have been recorded, the document is permanently deleted from our systems. Deletion is immediate and unrecoverable. Your remaining details are held encrypted at rest and are transmitted over TLS. Applications are now handled by the state registry at gov.mdu.pm, which runs on a server in the United States; applications filed earlier through our forms provider were stored in Singapore. You can export or erase your data yourself at any time from My data, without having to ask anyone, or by contacting contact@surillya.com. GDPR and equivalent privacy rights are fully honored. You may redact everything on your ID except your name, date of birth, issuing country, and photo.
